Yahoo! Inc, the multinational Internet Corporation announced the launch of Axis, an independent web browser for mobile devices believed to phenomenally bridge the gap between browsing and results thus obtained.
Entering the bandwagon, Yahoo is optimistic about improving its struggling identity crisis in the industry with the launch of Axis. According to experts, Axis is an outstanding web browser that will change the user experience worldwide positively.
Axis brags the best of Safari’s Webkit which sets it apart from other peer browsers currently functional on mobile devices.
“Axis design is highly aimed to skip the middle step of viewing thousands of result links after entering query on a browser. On Axis, people will be directed to the page after entering a query by simply eliminating the step of surfing through a sea of links,” Ethan Batraski, head of product for the Search Innovation Group at Yahoo, said.
The idea of skipping the middle step isn’t entirely the way drawn in by Yahoo. However, it still possesses revolutionary ways to make your browsing experience phenomenal on the browser.
Axis, the search focused browser app’s launch is surrounded by speculations. An Android version of the mobile browser is also said to be in the pipeline. Currently it supports only the iPhone and the iPad.
